Project 6

I started by using piano chords. First I used a chord of c5 g5 e5 then f5 a5 c6. Then a simple low base pattern using the poi zone. Then a simple drum beat using a kick hat and a clap. Then for the next pattern i used a chord of f5 a5 and c6 then added another simple low bass pattern. Then I used the same chord from the first pattern but added a new bass part. And then i just repeated the second chord i used with the same bass pattern then repeated the first chord i used with the same bass and the same drums to end it off.

Project 5a

   In this project I as going for a little bit of a more techno feel than normal. I started off with a high pitched sound and gradually went up more through the song. And than i added a simple low bass sound and gradually went up in pitch through the song. Than I made a drum piece with a deep kick a hat and a clap. Than I made another high pitched type sound but just a little different. Than I added another bass sound with just a little more to it and last added another drum pattern with the same sounds but just in a different pattern.

Project 5

        This is my blog post for project 5. I started it off by making a piece with the saw wave  and  then a sine every other beat. And than I wrote a piece with both the sine wave and the saw wave. And than I layered it with a drum pattern with a kick clap and a crash. Than i changed it up a little and added a couple different hits in  it. Than it just ended like it started with the original drum pattern. Than I added some reverb on it.

Project 4

          In this project I started with a simple drum pattern with a deep kick sound and a clap. Than I used the simsynth to create  a pattern and used the fruity filter to get a little different sound. And Last I used the xy controller to make the sound go down and up.

Project 3

                  

 In project 3 I started out with some bass from the simsynth and played with the sounds a little bit and than put a drum loop down from the fpc. I had the automation go down up and than slowly down. Next I put another simsynth loop with a different fpc loop and kept the drum loop for the rest of the song. And than just changed the bass into a little bit more up tempo sound.

Project 2

In this project I started off with something i wrote useing the simsynth. Than I made a little drum fill to transition into the next part. After the fill Using a different pattern from the simsyth and layering it with a drumloop. Enjoy.

project 1

I was inspired by 2pac because I had always loved his music. I started out using a kick on every 3 notes with a clap in between them on pattern one. Than I put in snares and and 4 straight hats to end it off. In the fill I started off with 2 kicks and snares every 2 notes and 4 straight kicks and four straight hats to end it off and to bring it to life a little bit. In the last pattern i was trying to make it contrast with the first but also have its own style so i used a snare every 2 notes and added a different type of kick sound. Enjoy.
